PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic valve where foreign matters are hindered from entering the intermediate chamber due to volumetric change in the intermediate chamber to be caused by the movement of a spool and a moving piece, and consequently the moving piece and the spool are prevented from being locked. SOLUTION: When the volume is reduced in a valve-hole open-end chamber 72 constituting a hollow chamber, hydraulic fluid extruded out of the valve-hole open-end chamber 72 enters a recessed groove 73. The hydraulic fluid in the quantity that has been entered the recessed groove 73 from the valve-hole open-end chamber 72 is discharged to the outside. On the contrary to the above, when the volume of the valve-hole open-end chamber 72 is increased, the hydraulic fluid enters the valve-hole open-end chamber 72 from the recessed groove 73. The hydraulic fluid in the quantity which has entered the valve-hole open-end chamber 72 from the recessed groove 73 is supplied from the outside to the recessed groove 73. Thus, when the moving piece 17 and the spool 20 are moved to change the volume of the valve-hole open-end chamber 72, the hydraulic fluid in the quantity equal to the change in the quantity is supplied from the recessed groove 73 into the valve hole open-end chamber 72. The hydraulic fluid of the outside flows into only the recessed groove 73, and it does not flow directly into the valve hole open-end chamber 72.
