PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system of an engine for a motorcycle capable of shutting off supply of operation power supply without necessitating operation after the engine stops and reducing consumption current. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 11 switches a power supply switching circuit 13 to an ON condition based on turning-on of a start switch 15a to supply operation power supply to microcomputer 11 itself through a path without passing through switches including the start switch 15a and performs engine start (fuel injection operation and ignition operation) based on an operation signal (a crank angle signal from a crank angle sensor 17) of a starter motor 21. On the other hand, when a stop switch 15b is turned on, the microcomputer 11 performs engine stop processing (stop of fuel injection operation and ignition operation) and switches the power supply switching circuit 13 to an OFF condition to shut off supply of operation power supply to the microcomputer itself.
