PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in order to reuse an ink cartridge, the used ink cartridge must be one without damages, and in addition, when the ink cartridge has a complicated structure, many manhours are required for the cleaning prior to an ink filling, and the filling efficiency for ink is inferior if the method for manufacturing a new ink cartridge is followed as it is, and the reproduction can not necessarily be performed at a low cost. SOLUTION: The ink feeding port of the container main body is set to be facing upward or downward for the used ink cartridge, and either one of a first opening section or a second opening section from among the sealed opening sections is selected for the ink pouring, and a plug which is attached to the opening section is removed. Then, after the opening is drilled into a perfect circle, cleaning is performed, and the ink is poured from the ink feeding port into the opening section which has been selected for the ink pouring while suction-removing the residual ink and air.
