PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high stable crystal oscillator and an aging correction method for the crystal oscillator which can be realized by a comparatively simple circuit structure. SOLUTION: Output pulse signals of a clock oscillator circuit 1 are counted with a pulse counter 2, D/A conversion of its output is performed by a D/A conversion circuit 3, and its output is applied to a diode circuit 6. The diode circuit 6 is a circuit composed by connecting two diodes D1, D2 in series. The output of the diode circuit 6 is applied to the control voltage input terminal Vcont of the oscillation circuit 4. Since the output of the diode circuit 6 forms a curve similar to a logarithmic curve, the aging of the oscillation circuit 4 is compensated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
