PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate noise generation in case of mismatching of settings between a music device and a communication controller. SOLUTION: When the communication controller is unmounted from a music device of a certain signal processing form and mounted on a music device of a different signal processing form, data transmission and reception are temporarily stopped until mismatching of respective settings between the music device and communication controller is eliminated. The communication controller decides whether the music device which has the newly mounted controller has a different signal processing form from the music device before the replacement. When it is decided that the communication controller is mounted on the music device having the different signal processing form, data transmission to and reception from the communication controller and data transmission to and reception from a music system network are temporarily stopped according to its lower layer. Thus, the data transmission and reception are temporarily stopped, so noise is generated by neither the music device nor other nodes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
