PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood crushing machine capable of enhancing a production efficiency by preventing mixing of fine particles of the crushed wood to a recovered magnetic body. SOLUTION: The wood crushing machine is provided with a body frame; a crushing device provided on the body frame and crushing the wood to be crushed; a discharge conveyor 3 for discharging the crushed wood discharged from the crushing device to the outside of the machine; a magnetic separator 31 for applying magnetic force from a driving pulley 26 at a release end side laid with a conveyor belt 27 of the discharge conveyor 3 beyond the conveyor belt 27 and sorting the magnetic body from the released crushed wood; a first chute 32 provided on a lower part at a release end side of the discharge conveyor 3 and recovering the magnetic body sorted by the magnetic separator 31; and a second chute 45 extending in a crushed wood conveying direction of the discharge conveyor 3 so as to cover the upper part of the first chute 32 in the discharge direction and sorting/recovering the fine particles of the crushed wood dropping off from a returning surface 27a of the conveyor belt 27 returned to an upstream side in the conveying direction by folding/returning the driving pulley 26 from the magnetic body.
