Exhaust gas turbocharger (10) has bearing (20) with two chamber, first chamber (22) and second chamber (23). The compressor wheel back (2) forms the first chamber wall (24) of first chamber and the turbine wheel back (4) forms the first chamber wall (26) of the second chamber. For the supply of the medium (21) first bearing cover (30) of first chamber has first entrance opening (34) while second bearing cover (31) of the second chamber has second entrance opening (35).
