<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an imposition processing which can be carried out by every printer without depending on the function of a printer for output. <P>SOLUTION: A document editing application having imposition function comprises an application main part 201, an imposition plug-in connecting part 202, and an imposition plug-in part 203. The application main part 201 is a module which uses imposition plug-in. The imposition plug-in connecting part 202 functions as an interface controlling the connection with the plug-in part 203 based on call from the application main part 201.
