PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of fuel consumption caused by the start of an engine against a driver's intention, in a hybrid vehicle in which the start control of the engine is performed in accordance with an accelerator aperture.
SOLUTION: In the control device, when engine start requirement conditions at high-speed traveling, high-acceleration driving, battery-charging requirements or the like are not satisfied, motor-dependent traveling (first traveling mode) is performed in a region at the accelerator aperture ≤α(%), and engine/motor combined traveling (second traveling mode) by the start of the engine is performed in a region of the accelerator aperture >α(%). In a prescribed transition region with the accelerator aperture corresponding to a traveling mode switching point as a boundary, an acceleration pedal device is constituted so that a pedaling change amount necessary for acquiring the same accelerator aperture change amount is differed from those between the first traveling mode regions 252, 262 and between the second traveling mode regions 254, 264. By this, the driver can sense the transition of the traveling modes by the change of a pedaling characteristic of the acceleration pedal.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
