摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of preventing a scope of wind velocity for generating electric power by a wind power generator from becoming narrow and ensuring the life of durability of tapered roller bearings 2, 2 for supporting a main shaft 1 connected with and fixed on a rotor. <P>SOLUTION: Pre-load load to be given to each tapered roller bearing 2, 2 is freely adjusted by a hydraulic cylinder 10. When wind velocity around the wind power generator is less than cut-in wind velocity, pre-load load is set to zero. Consequently, start torque of each tapered roller bearing 2, 2 is reduced to improve start property of the rotor.
