<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high proton-conductive glass which is advantageous to suppression of weight reduction in a wet atmosphere and to enhancement of durability to the wet atmosphere while maintaining high proton-conductivity, and to provide a method enabling production of the same. <P>SOLUTION: This high proton-conductive glass is characterized in that its main components are P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, La<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and the contents of La<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>are 1-10 mol% and 0.05-2 mol%, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
