<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode plate for a lead-acid storage battery with a high utilization rate of an activator, that can be manufactured in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A powder mixture 2a for anode is manufactured by mixing metallic lead powder, lead sulfate powder, and an additive. Next, a sheet-shaped electrode 4a for the anode is manufactured by cutting the powder mixture 2a after pressing it by a roller 9.
