<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice synthesizer which enables a system state to be found from a synthesized voice. <P>SOLUTION: The voice synthesizer is provided with: a text inputting section 101 receiving text information; a sound quality parameter setting section 102; a synthesized voice generating section 103 which generates a synthesized voice of the inputted text information using a speech element database 108 and a rhythm database 109 that are used to generate the synthesized voice, sound quality parameters, speech element data and rhythm data; a voice output section 104 which outputs a generated synthesized voice; and a system management section 203 which manages the system state and sets at least one of the sound quality parameters, the speech element data and the rhythm data so as to be suitable to the system state. Thereby, at least one of the sound quality parameters, the speech element data and the rhythm data can be suitable to the system state, and the system state can be found from the synthesized voice. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
