<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of achieving a high grip performance without deteriorating various performances, such as fracture characteristics and wear resistance, and industrial workability of a tire when used as a tire tread, and the tire using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains at least one inorganic metal compound represented by formula (I): MX (wherein M is a metal cation chosen from lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, beryllium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium, radium, aluminum, iron, copper, tin, titanium, vanadium or manganese; and X is a counter anion against the metal cation) and at least one phenol resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
