PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene fine porous membrane which has a lamination structure, is superior in mechanical property such as strength and ductility, and especially contains a thermoplastic resin having a higher melting temperature than that of polyethylene resin in the inner layer, and in which the porosity is improved since the thermoplastic resin forms pores in drawing process, and which has stability at high temperatures and is useful for a secondary battery separator, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The polyethylene fine porous membrane for the secondary battery separator is constructed of an A layer which is formed by melting and kneading a polyethylene resin 20-40 wt% and an aliphatic hydrocarbon based solvent 60-80 wt%, and a B layer which is formed on both faces of the A layer by melting and kneading the polyethylene resin 45-65 wt% and the aliphatic hydrocarbon based solvent 35-55 wt%.
