PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted navigation system which can display the detailed information on facilities, according to the speed of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicle-mounted navigation system comprises a display means for providing guidance information on a screen, a memory means for storing map data and information on various kinds of facilities, a vehicle speed detection means for detecting a vehicle speed, and a control means which is operatively connected to the display means, the memory means, and the vehicle speed detection means. The control means acquires information on facilities, existing in the vicinity of own vehicle from the memory means, when the vehicle speed (S16) detected by the vehicle speed detection means is determined as being lower than a prescribed speed (S17) and allows the display means to display, according to the acquired position of the facilities, detailed information on the facilities, together with its name on the screen (S19 to S21).
