PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink recording device of which the recording quality is increased by preventing fouling with ink mist from occurring. SOLUTION: This ink recording device has an ink head 1, a holder 2 which is equipped with a holder opening section 21 and covers the facing surface of the ink head excepting a nozzle, an absorbing member 3 which is equipped with an absorbing member opening section 31 and covers the surface of the holder 2 at least around the holder opening section 21, and a mask 4 which is equipped with a mask opening section 41 and covers at least the surface of the absorbing member 3. At least one of the absorbing member opening section 31 and the mask opening section 41 has a shape for which at least one of the end sections of the absorbing member 3 and the mask 4 projects into an eave shape from the end section of the holder 2 at least in the carrying direction of a material 100 to be recorded around the holder opening section 21.
