PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid tire which improves riding comfort without deteriorating durability and steering stability, and a tire/wheel assembly in which the solid tire is mounted in a wheel. SOLUTION: In a solid tire 2, a pair of right and left annular bead cores 5a, 5b are arranged inside a tread part 4 made of solid rubber. A reinforcing layer 6 is arranged between the bead cores 5a, 5b. The reinforcing layer 6 is obliquely laid over with respect to a tire axial direction between the bead cores 5a, 5b, and formed by a plurality of codes c stretched so as to be intermittently arranged in a tire periphery.
