PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane filtering device where, even if a hollow fiber is damaged or fractured, as the intrusion of harmful microorganisms into treated water is prevented, the damage or fracture of the hollow fiber is discovered at an initial stage. SOLUTION: The membrane filtering device is provided with: hollow fiber separation parts 1 of removing suspended solids and microorganisms in water; a filter part 2 to be fed with permeation water in the hollow fiber separation membrane parts 1; a gas feed part 20 of feeding gas to the hollow fiber separation membrane parts 1; and a pressure detection part 25 of detecting the pressure variation in the hollow fiber separation membrane parts 1.
