PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which enables shortenning of a processing time required in detecting an air pocket based on three-dimensional data of a work to simplify a calculation. SOLUTION: A horizontal spline 51 taken along a work section in a horizontal direction is produced from the three-dimensional data of the work 10, a plurality of vertical upper splines 52, 53, directing verticaly upward, taken along the work sections in the vertical direction spaced mutually using the horizontal spline as a basis are produced from the three-dimensional data, and in cases where the horizontal spline 51 and the vertical upper splines 52, 53 are all closed, it is judged that an air pocket portion maintained in a state where no liquid is attached to the work is present.
