PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for coating, having good coating operability and easiness of drying, and suitable for forming a coated film having excellent properties of the coated film such as adhesion and water resistance even under a condition of normal temperature or forced drying. SOLUTION: The resin composition for the coating comprises (A) an acrylic resin having a weight average molecular weight within the range of 10,000-100,000, (B) an acrylic resin having a weight average molecular weight within the range of≥500 and <10,000, (C) a cellulose acetate butyrate and (D) a high-boiling point solvent having≥200°C boiling point.
