Fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell based on micro hollow fiber, which contains electrolytes, which carries separately from each other anode (3) and cathode (1). The electrolyte is a micro hollow fiber-matrix electrolyte whereby the micro hollow fiber of the electrolyte has a wall thickness of about 0.01 to 250 micrometer and an equal outer diameter of about 50 mu m to 3 mm. Hollow micro-fibers are arranged either in the form of filament or filament yarn fabrics with a dimensionally stable integration of the micro hollow fiber ends and partially laid open access to the lumen of the hollow fiber or in the form of staple fiber or staple fiber yarn fabrics. The hollow micro-fiber ends are bound in such a way that they are dimensionally stable and at least one of the electrodes is formed movable. An independent claim is also included for the procedure for the water mineralizing by means of a fuel cell system based on hollow micro-fiber.
