PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple fixing structure of an electronic component capable of realizing a low downsized profile and capable of easily connectig to a circuit board without using a solder, and to provide a rotary electronic component. SOLUTION: The fixing structure of the electronic component has the circuit board 140 and the electronic component (the swing-type electronic component) 1 electrically connected to the board 140 in place on a fixing stand 120. A base 80 comprising an integral molding of an electronic-component fixing part 81 to which the electronic component 1 is fixied and a pressure connection part 85 bent from the part 81 and extending in a direction away from the component 1 is provided. Terminal patterns 141 provided on the board 140 and terminal patterns 19 provided on a flexible circuit substrate 11 are pressure connected by sandwiching the board 140 and terminal patterns 15 of the substrate 11 pulled out from the component 1 between the part 85 of the base 80 and the stand 120.
