PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition in which wear resistance and flame retardancy are compatible with each other at a high level. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 pts.mass of a rubber component containing 30-100 mass% of natural rubber and 0-70 mass% of one or more types of rubber selected from the group consisting of styrene-butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber and ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, and a component (1) or (2). The component (1) comprises 30-85 pts.mass of aluminum hydroxide, 20-50 pts.mass of decabromodiphenyl ether and 10-20 pts.mass of ammonium polyphosphate. The component (2) comprises 30-90 pts.mass of aluminum hydroxide, 10-50 pts.mass of chlorinated paraffin and 3-20 pts.mass of antimony trioxide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
