PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for filling a low-sulfur fuel oil whereby the low-sulfur fuel oil prepared by removing sulfur components from a fuel oil can be filled by a simple means in a gas station, an oil refinery, or an oil storage facility. SOLUTION: The method for filling a low-sulfur fuel oil comprises, in the case of a gas station 1, installing a desulfurizer-filled desulfurization filter 5 in the fuel oil passage 4 between a fuel oil storage tank 3 placed in the gas station 1 and an automobile 2 and passing the fuel oil through the desulfurization filter 5 to refuel the automobile 2, comprises, in the case of an oil storage facility or an oil refinery, installing a desulfurizer-filled desulfurization filter in the fuel passage between a fuel oil storage section placed in the oil storage facility or the like and a tank truck and passing the fuel oil through the desulfurization filter to fill the tank truck with the fuel, and, in the case of an oil refinery, comprises installing a desulfurizer-filled desulfurization filter in the fuel oil passage between a fuel oil storage section placed in the oil refinery and an oil tanker and passing the fuel oil through the desulfurization filter to fill the oil tanker with the fuel oil.
