PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical contact for inhibiting a fluctuation of a conductivity due to a contact angle, and stably maintaining the high conductivity. SOLUTION: A conductive coating is laminated at a tip of a carbon nanotube by vacuum-depositing Au at the tip of the carbon nanotube after the carbon nanotube is laminated. The carbon nanotube is constituted to be cylindrically rounded on a two-dimensional graphite face. The circumferential wave number is quantized. A quantized band gap is larger than a room temperature in one-dimensional direction in the circumferential direction. Electrons do not flow in the circumferential direction, and a movement of the electrons is limited to the axial direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
