PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method suitable for obtaining a dense refractory structure of high durability after construction, when spray-constructing a container for holding a fused metal, a gutter for streaming the fused metal or the like, with monolithic refractory. SOLUTION: When spraying the monolithic refractory, a filter pad 6 provided with a planar member having a plurality of holes and a projected member installed on a face in a side opposite to a face contact with the monolithic refractory of the planar member is mounted on a surface of the sprayed monolithic refractory, after spraying the monolithic refractory, a top cover 7 for covering the filter pad is attached further, and a space between the filter pad and the top cover is evacuated thereafter.
