PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of widening the frequency band of the ultrasonic probe by easily composing an acoustic matching layer with at least three layers, and capable of obtaining a diagnostic image with high resolution. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe has a piezoelectric element 1 which transmits and receives ultrasonic waves. A plurality of kinds of powder materials are filled in high-molecular resin and are layered inside the high-molecular resin to form the acoustic matching layer.
