PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin disposable pan holder using paper, cloth or the like allowing holding hot articles. SOLUTION: A pan holder body is formed of a sheet body composed of the paper or the cloth in a mitten shape, in which entire pot holder body contains water or alcohol. The pan holder body is stored in a sealed container for keeping it wet. After opening the container, temperature of the pan holder body is decreased by heat of vaporization of the water or the alcohol. The pan holder has improved heat storage effect so that it is kept at low temperature by cooling it beforehand, and heat transmitted to the hand is reduced.
