PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring device of a cylinder, and a boring method of a cylinder capable of preventing shaft adjustment of each cylinder because coaxiality of a processing pin and a cylinder gives a great influence on a processing effect in processing inside diameter of the cylinder. SOLUTION: This device comprises a processing pin 4 provided with a spiral-like abrasive blade 8 on its periphery, a drive means for abrading the inner periphery of the cylinder while inserting the processing pin inside the cylinder 1 and rotating it around a shaft, a grip means 2 griping the cylinder, and an idling means 3 idling the griping means.
