摘要 <p>The melted-on plastic is contacted by a coolant. The plastic cools from the molten side in direct contact with the coolant. Cooling is controlled, such that the side facing the mold remains warm. The supply container used for particle coating is replaced by a water box. This is swung over to bring the water into contact with the melted-on plastic component. Coolant liquid or gas is supplied in a quantity appropriate to the plastic thickness, which is variable. In addition, the mold is cooled and/or temperature-controlled at the rear, using oil. The mold is cooled only to the extent that the plastic in contact with it, reaches a hot, elastically-deformable state. Cooling takes the mold temperature down to no less than 100[deg]C. Equipment used includes an oil vessel (1) connected by a seal (2) to the shallow mold (3). The equipment swings about a horizontal axis (5). The box for bulk plastic particles is interchangeable with a cooling fluid box. In addition or instead, beneath the mold, coolant fluid- or gas nozzles (7) are directed against the side of the workpiece which faces downward. The quantity of coolant, and/or the duration of its supply are controlled in accordance with the signal from a mold temperature sensor. An independent claim is included for corresponding equipment.</p>
