The invention concerns a method for transmitting at least one multicarrier signal in a data transmission and/or broadcasting single central frequency network (SFN) said network comprising at least two geographical cells associated each with at least one transmitter, said multicarrier signal comprising at least two subcarriers each modulated by data elements during successive time slots called symbol times. The invention is characterized in that, for at least one of said cells, it consists in assigning to at least some subcarriers of said signal a cyclical time shift within the symbol time, and said cyclical time shift is specific to said cell, such that two neighbouring cells of said network are associated with two distinct cyclical time shifts.
