<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter which reduces an increase in the number of components to a minimum, operates with no frequency modulation required, simplifies control, controls a pulsating current in each phase which flows through an LC series circuit provided at an output even if it is formed into three-phase, and suppresses an increase in the conduction loss of a switch element. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter includes the series circuit 9 consisting of an inductor 2 and a capacitor 3 at its output, and further includes an average voltage value control circuit 84, and an instantaneous voltage control circuit 85, wherein the control circuit 84 controls an average value of an output voltage of the power converter or an average value of an output current, using an average voltage value of PWM modulation of each phase, while the control circuit 85 controls a pulsating current component synchronized with a PWM cycle which flows through the series circuit 9 comprising the inductor 2 and the capacitor 3, using the instantaneous voltage of the PWM modulation of each phase, then soft switching is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
