<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid oxide fuel battery of banded type capable of attaining higher cell voltage and output density with almost the same size as a whole than conventional ones. <P>SOLUTION: For the slid oxide fuel battery of banded type made by arranging a plurality of solid oxide fuel battery cells at an outside face of porous insulating base body having a fuel flow channel inside, the porous insulating base body with a rugged surface is used, and the jointing face of the rugged surface with both electrode materials is made to naturally reflect a corresponding rugged structure, whereby substantial cell areas concerning power generation are augmented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
