POSITIONING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR END OF SOLAR CELL MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning method and apparatus for the end of a solar cell module to realize accurate positioning of the end of a solar cell module by detecting the side edge of a rear surface supporting material without increase in cost for automated cutting work of excessive part of the solar cell module having completed integrated molding process.

SOLUTION: The excessive part 106 is cut by moving a cutting position deciding means 111a or the like to the side of the solar cell module 100 with a moving unit 116. When the cutting position deciding means 111a or the like is placed in contact with the rear surface supporting material 105, pushing of the cutting position deciding means 111a or the like with the moving unit 116 is suspended. The solar cell module 100 is fixed with the aid of an attracting unit 110a by pushing a pusher unit 112 toward the solar cell module 100 to temporarily fix the solar cell module 100. Positioning of the end of the solar cell module 100 can be completed by moving backward the cutting position deciding means 111a or the like and the pusher unit 112.
