PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition which is free from the polymerization inhibition by oxygen and thus can achieve high surface lubricity without finish-polishing, which is usually done after filling and curing, can retain the surface lubricity for a long time, has high filler filling ratio and good operationality, and thereby is suitable for a dental composite resin. SOLUTION: An organic/inorganic composite filler is incorporated into a cation polymerizing monomer such as an epoxy compound and an oxetane compound. The organic/inorganic composite filler can be obtained by preparing a mixture of an inorganic filler such as silica and silica-zirconia and a polymerizable monomer and grinding the resultant mixture into an appropriate size after polymerization/curing. For the polymerizable monomer, it is preferred that a cation polymerizing monomer or a cation polymerizing monomer combined with a radical polymerizing monomer having a hydroxyl group or an epoxy group is used.
