METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING GAS HYDRATE TO GASIFICATION TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying a gas hydrate to a gasification tank in which the pressure is kept high. SOLUTION: The gas hydrate is mixed with water in a mixer 10 and the obtained mixture is supplied to the gasification tank 32. The mixer 10 is composed of a whirling chamber 3 formed in the upper part of a main body, a conical diameter-reduced chamber 2 connected to the whirling chamber 3 and an agitation/discharge chamber 8 formed below the diameter-reduced chamber 2. A whirling flow is formed by a water current W to be supplied from the tangential direction and the mixed flow of the water current with the supplied gas hydrate is formed in the whirling chamber 3. The mixed flow is throttled when passing through the diameter-reduced chamber 2 and then discharged. The gas hydrate is supplied to the whirling chamber 3 of the mixer 10 to form/whirl the mixed flow of the water current with the gas hydrate and the mixed flow is throttled, agitated and supplied to the gasification tank 32 while keeping the pressure.
