PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the strict management of a lens sticking direction and to facilitate the management of the aberration of an optical system by properly selecting a lens joining spot when the lens as an optical element is fixed to a base by an adhesive. SOLUTION: A base 1 is provided with a hole 2 and a collimator lens 9 as an optical element. The collimator lens 9 fitted in a stepped annular recess provided in the hole 2 is fixed to the base 1 by an adhesive 28 filled in a recess 27 formed into a bulged shape in a plurality of peripheral-direction places of the annular recess 21.
