摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for measuring molten material surface level with which the surface level of the molten material in a blast furnace can accurately be measured. SOLUTION: A signal processor 6 applies current of a pseudo-random signal to the blast furnace 21 through electrodes 11, 12 for current application, and voltage generated between electrodes 13, 14 for voltage detection with the current of the pseudo-random signal, is input from a voltage detector 4 and digitalized and then, the value of variance ratio with time of the detected voltage and a preset threshold value are compared, and the voltage in the time range in which the value of the variance ratio with time of the voltage is lower than the threshold value, is extracted as a signal component, and a correlation value is calculated by performing a correlation calculation between the signal component and the reference signal, and the correlation value of the maximum value among the correlation values, is used as voltage to calculate the electric resistance necessary for the measuring the surface level of the molten material from this voltage and the detected current of a current detector 5.
