The invention relates to a method for producing an ivy leaf extract containing the active substances hederacoside C and a-hederin, and extracts which are produced using said method. According to the inventive method, a first, a-hederin-rich extract is first provided, whereupon a second, hederacoside C-rich extract is provided. In a last step, the two extracts are mixed so as to obtain an extract that has a set hederacoside C concentration and a set a- hederin concentration.
