<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous fluorescent resin composition suitable for applying to a coating or ink etc. which can form an indication or coating product etc. having an excellent weather resistance and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous fluorescent resin composition is produced by producing for the first step an emulsion of a resin (C) containing fluorescent colorant by emulsion polymerization of a monomer mixture (A), which comprises an ethylenic unsaturated monomer (a) containing a reactive functional group against a carboxylic group and another ethylenic unsaturated monomer (b) copolymerizable with the monomer (a), in the presence of a fluorescent colorant (B) in an aqueous medium, then by mixing the emulsion and a water soluble polymer (D) containing a carboxy group and by allowing to react the functional group of the resin (C) containing fluorescent colorant with a carboxylic group contained in the polymer (D). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
