<p>Mounting device for electrode comprising external metallic shell (1), central pre-baked carbon column (2) of elements joined by nipples (4), carbonaceous paste between shell and column, and temporary locking unit (10) for column, has tightening mechanism (11) acting with locking unit (10) to exert pre-set thread torque between a new element and column on which the new element is screwed. The central column (2) is fixed on the support with the aid of a part (7) having a unit for snapping onto the support (5). The temporary locking unit (10) blocks the descent of the central column (2). An Independent claim is given for use of the mounting device in an electric arc furnace for the production of metallurgical silicon.</p> |
