<p>In order to partition an airbag (10) into a first chamber (1) in which an inflator (36) is disposed and a second chamber (2) which surrounds the first chamber (1), to cause inflation of the second chamber (2) to be accomplished earlier, first and second inner panels (22A, 22B) are provided in an interior of the airbag (10), and the interior of the airbag (10) is partitioned into the first chamber (1) and the second chamber (2) surrounding the first chamber (1). The second inner panel (22B) is provided with a communication port (27) for bringing the first chamber (1) and the second chamber (2) into communication. The communication port (27) is located in a range from 35 to 150 mm in radius from a center of an inflator insertion port (24). Discharged gas from a gas discharge port (36a) of an inflator (36) is directly supplied to the second chamber (2) via the communication port (27).</p> |
