PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a synthetic resin foam which is uniformly impregnated with a large amount of functional agents into the inside, enabling whole the body to have a uniform functionality. SOLUTION: The production method is carried out by the followings: a synthetic resin foam having continuous foam cells is pulverized and after adding a binder to the pulverized foam particles, they are agitated and mixed, forming a binder film on the foam cell surfaces of the particles; functional agent powders having≤100μm of particle diameters, are added to the particles, followed by agitating and mixing them, and then the powders are stuck on the foam cell surfaces; and after fixing the powders on the foam cell surfaces by curing the binder, a binding agent is added thereto, agitating and mixing them, and then the resultant product is molded to a prescribed form.
