Manufacturing a sandwich (I) (having two slices (Ia) (with two faces made up of a cereal composition) and a filling foodstuff (Ib) enveloped with in (Ia)), comprises cooking the surface of (Ia), humidifying the non cooked portion of (Ia) on at least a peripheral zone at 20-50[deg]C, filling (Ib) between (Ia) with cooked surface facing the exterior, and pressing the two (Ia) to form a sealing with definite external surface enclosing (Ib). An independent claim is also included for a sandwich (I) obtained by the process and is devoid of an adhesive and the external surface forming a continuous convex crust on the interface side or the crust having its external face which is cooked superficially and the internal surface which is non-cooked and humidified. |
