<p>The invention relates to searching data objects using indexes within a search engine. To enable searching for business objects using information about related business objects, embodiments provide creating a first index of a search engine, wherein creating the first index comprises indexing data objects of at least a first type; creating a relationship index, wherein creating the relationship index comprises indexing relationships of data objects of at least the first type, wherein indexing the relationships comprises mapping relationship type data objects representing the respective relationships into documents and indexing the documents; determining relationships of data objects from at least the relationship index; and searching within related data objects for data objects in compliance with at least one search statement.</p> |
