<p>The invention relates to an electric motor drive system in which multiple generators (6 to 10) driven by mechanical power generating units (1 to 5) are connected in parallel with each other to a common distribution bus (12), multiple power convertor units (61) for outputting variable-amplitude and variable-frequency a.c. power and phase detecting means (48) for detecting a voltage phase of the common distribution bus are connected to this common distribution bus (12), and multiple motors (23 to 27) are driven by the multiple power convertor units. By the phases of carrier frequencies PWM-controlling convertors of the respective power convertor units being set to predetermined values with the voltage phase of the common distribution bus detected by the phase detecting means (48) as a base, the power convertor units are given a function of reducing harmonics to the common distribution bus.</p> |
