<p>Mechanically locked strikers have a base 302, a striker bar 304, and a locking arm 306 which extends from the base to the striker bar. The striker bar 304 and locking arm 306 are each mechanically locked to the base. A segment of the locking are forms a bridge 308 over the base, defining a throat for engagement of a latch about the striker bar. As shown a dovetail arrangement 316 secures the locking arm 306 and a screw connection secures the striker bar 304.</p> |
