The device has a rotating type control valve e.g. butterfly control valve, comprising a support body (20) traversed by a cylindrical pipe (2). A wall maintenance rod (3) is connected to a rotation control unit around a transversal axis for adjusting gas passage section between complete closed and open positions. A median plane of the wall is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the pipe in the closed position.
