<p>By its concept the automatic flow sampling device for sampling water close to the bottom provides the sampling of water at a reliable distance from the bottom without accidentally taking some water from the higher layers of the water column with it. The upper (5) and lower (4) cover are during the descent of the sampling device into water towards the bottom by way of blocking levers (13) locked in the open position, while the funnel (18) directs the water through the hollow body (1). Arriving at the bottom, the body (1) and the lover cover (4) move lower regarding the upper cover (5) and the legs (7) thus release the blocking levers (13), which the springs (15) pull out. Upon lifting the sampling device, which is by a lifting rope connected to the supporting cross (8), the lower cover (4), which is via guides permanently connected to the supporting cross (8) is raised, it is fitted to the body (1) and locks it from the lower side and at the same time raises the upper cover (5) and fits it also from the upper side to close it from above.</p> |
